Happy One Month!

Lexie is one month old today! Can't believe it's already been a month since I had her. She has already changed a lot. She is more awake and alert everyday and has started tracking things with her eyes, especially the little birds that go around on her swing. Her legs, arms and neck are getting stronger by the day and her checks are starting to get chubby. Exciting to see her new developments but sad that her newborn days are flying by. We love you, Lexie!

Week Four

Newborn Randomness

First Trip to the Mall!

Today we ventured to the mall to run some errands and practice taking Lexie places! After figuring out how to collapse the stroller, we loaded her in the car and headed off. She did great for most of the time we were there but started to lose it at Macy's when the cashier was taking FOREVER to check us out. I was about to lose it too! Every time we take her out of the house it's a new learning experience.

Gripewater

We have been giving Lexie gripewater for gas relief. It is hilarious when we give her the drops because she makes this loud squeaking noise.

Tummy Time

We've been doing some daily 'tummy time' with Lexie to help her build her neck muscles. I can tell she is getting stronger daily. Good work, Lex!

Snugli!

Today I tried out the Snugli with Lexie and she loved it! Even though it's still a little big for her, she fell asleep almost right away. The free hands allowed me to clean up the kitchen and make lunch... two things that are fairly rare now. Thanks, Kristie for giving us the Snugli!
