Go D-backs!
On Tuesday, Jeff planned a surprise date night and took me to a Diamondbacks game. Our tickets were on the suite level which was really fun. We actually ended up watching more of the Suns game on TV than we did the D-backs game but we had a great time cheering for both events at once. Unfortunately, both AZ teams lost.

Albuquerque!
We went home to Albuquerque this weekend for an extravaganza of events! Our future sister-in-law, Delia, had a beautiful bridal shower on Saturday while the groomsmen and other male family members played a round of golf and BBQ'd. We also got to meet Lewis' girlfriend Kathleen, with whom we had a great time! On Sunday morning, we had brunch with the Haydens and their family friends, the Cuthberts. For those of you on 'Lauren Baby Watch', the baby did not come this weekend as anticipated. Jeff and I barely saw each other the whole time we were there since we were so busy visiting different friends and family members. However, we are both thankful for the short time we got to have in town. We can't wait for Randy and Delia's wedding and to see everyone again!

Back to the lake
Roosevelt Lake is Jeff's favorite weekend getaway! We drive out there fairly often during the spring and summer. It is always fun to take different people out on the boat and nice to relax in the sun.
Everything at the lake is in bloom because of all the rain we got in February. It looks stunning!
Of course, on the way home we had to stop at Jake's Corner Bar to visit Bobby!
On the way home, our usual 2 hour drive turned into 4 hours due to a huge traffic jam. We made the best of it by feasting on crackers and reminiscing about our childhoods together. Except for Veronica, we have all know each other since we were 14 (or younger)!
