Slept through the night!

Lexie finally slept through the night!! She stayed swaddled up like a little burrito for 9 hours. These are the faces she made when I went in to get her up in the morning.

Thanksgiving Weekend

Both sets of Grandparents and Uncle Lewis came to visit for Thanksgiving. It was so nice having everyone here and celebrating Lexie's first Thanksgiving. Also have to show off the awesome centerpeices Jeff made!

Waking Up

Lexie is napping successfully in her crib now. The real challenge will be to see if we can get her to sleep through the night in there. Tonight's the first try!

Week 10

New Found Love

Lexie is starting to focus on her toys now and even attempts to swat at them. She is especially in love with her giraffe!

Swaddle Time

Lex sleeps best when she is swaddled up nice and tight in her blanket. We have to pin her arms down to her sides. If she wiggles loose, she wakes herself up and starts crying. Looks like a glow worm toy from the 80's!

A Night Out!

While Randy and Delia were here visiting we got a babysitter for Lex and checked out the new casino in Chandler. It's really nice and has a club inside, which is where we spent most of our time. Super fun night!

Camelback Hike

Jeff, Randy and Delia hiked Camelback Mountain Saturday morning. They had great weather for the hike and just missed the rain we got later that day.

Randy and Delia came to visit this weekend to go to Nascar (and meet Lexie!!) with Jeff's cousin, Scott, and his daughter Abby who were visiting from Colorado. Thanks for the fun visit! It was great seeing everyone!

Ouch!

Today Lexie got five shots at her two month checkup. So sad but her Snoopy bandaids are super cute.

Week 9

Happy Two Months, Lexie!

I can't believe it has already been two months since Lex was born! Time goes by so fast and yet she has grown up so much that, at times, it seems like longer. The most amazing thing Lexie learned how to do this month is smile. Incredible.

Yeah!

Today Lexie learned how to find her fingers and suck on them. She finally has enough control to hold her hand to her face by herself. This will help out so much with her being able to calm herself down when she is crying! Kind of a sloppy mess but we're proud of her anyway!

Lillie Takes Charge!

Tonight Kristie and Tara watched Lexie while Jeff and I went out to dinner for our third anniversary. They had their hands full with Russ and Lexie together, but you can tell from the picture who the REAL babysitter was! :) Thanks, everyone, for the great teamwork and for allowing Jeff and I a wonderful, quiet anniversary dinner.
