Roadtrip!

Oh, how the definition of 'roadtrip' has changed for us. Eight hours in the car on the way back from Albuquerque... I sat in the back with cutie patootie, reading pop-up books and hanging out, while Jeff warmed bags of milk over the heater vents (see below). We dealt with two outfit changes for Lexie from explosive diapers as well as cleaning one reststop changing table, which she flooded with pee during one of the stops. Overall she was fantastic in the car and the trip was a success!

Jeff and I took Lexie to see Santa today. They had a nice event in Downtown Chandler with an Arts & Crafts Fair and free Santa pics for the kids.

The Little Joys

Lexie LOVES the ceiling fan. She gets excited when it turns on and upset when we turn it off. If only life could always be that simple.

Happy 3 months!

Time is flying by! Lexie is 3 months old today and is growing up so fast. She smiles all the time, squeaks at high volumes and is right on the verge of letting out her first real laugh. She loves to be held sitting up and likes to look at everything around her. She has learned how to bring her hands up to her mouth to suck on her fingers and is sometimes able to hold her pacifier in by herself. She likes books with bright colored pictures and toys with bright patterns. She also loves looking at herself in the mirror. It's so exciting to see how much she has already learned. Jeff and I love just hanging out with her!
