Week 19

New friends

We have started trading childcare three day per week with our friend, Abby. Her son, Jaxton, is eight weeks younger than Lexie. She comes to our house and watches both babies during the day on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. It is really nice because it has allowed Jeff to go back to Blooming Vista two days a week plus also to work lunch at olive Garden on Fridays, giving us one extra evening together as a family. To trade, we have Jax on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights while Abby goes to work. Two of those nights Jeff is at work so I'm on my own with the little guys. Hard to believe that five months ago I knew very little about babies and now am able to juggle two at once! It's definitely a challenge but also fun to watch them together.

Week 18

4 Months!

Lexie is four months old today! She has grown and learned so much this month. She is grabbing at objects and putting everything in her mouth. She loves looking at herself in the mirror, and she has discovered new activities like jumping in her bouncer and kicking the keys on her toy piano. She is super smiley and just started laughing this week. We are loving every minute!
